Program
The IBS-ELS Board of Directors is pleased to announce that our society vice-president, Dr. Lori Brandt Hale, will be our speaker for the evening. Brandt Hale is Professor of Religion at Augsburg University in Minneapolis, MN, is the co-editor, with W. David Hall, of Bonhoeffer, Theology, and Political Resistance (Lexington Books, 2020), and has served on the Executive Board of the IBS-ELS Board of Directors (in various roles) since 2005. Her remarks will include reflections on the development of the website – launched in June of 2022 – in alignment with the strategic planning work of the Society, undertaken in 2016. In addition, she will consider how the articulation of a shared mission and vision for the Society – stemming from that intentional strategic planning – subverts notions of a “Bonhoeffer Brand.”
